Ari'I
Restaurant, described by Millionaire Magazine as being,
"one of the most romantic and scenic in Tahiti," offers fine
dining with spectacular lagoon and ocean views. Chef Thierry
Meteau specializes in combining French, Polynesian and International
cuisine - prepared with fresh fish and an abundance of fruit
from the island as well as an array of beef, chicken and duck
selections.
Whether you begin your day enjoying our lavish breakfast buffet,
dining under the stars on our overwater patio or just relaxing
with a tropical drink and snack at our beachfront bar, Te Tiare

The Polynesian Buffet and Dance Show - On Wednesdays, Te Tiare
Beach Resort presents a lavish Tahitian Buffet featuring Polynesian
delicacies, barbequed & grilled meats and fresh fish, a variety
of salads and a tempting selection of freshly prepared desserts.
After dinner, be sure to watch for the arrival of the dancers
as their tiki torches - shimmering on the lagoon - light their
way to the resort. Tahitian musicians accompany exquisite singing
while the men dance the exotic tamure and the women perform

Tucked away in a small bay on the island of Huahine, in Tahiti's Leeward
Islands, you will find Te Tiare Beach Resort.
The only access to our resort is by boat. After a short 35 minute
flight from Tahiti with the local air carrier, Air Tahiti, you will
be driven to Huahine's nearby main village of fare.
Along
the way, you will begin to discover Huahine's magnificent variety
of exotic plants. Vanilla, coffee, watermelon and taro plantations
abound, while breadfruit, mango, banana, and papaya groves may be
found throughout the Island. You may pass a local fisherman selling
his daily catch along the road.
While enjoying the 15 minute boat ride from the village to the resort,
through a breathtaking turquoise blue lagoon, you may catch glimpse
of some of the island's rich marine life.

Relax
and unwind in one of our exquisitely furnished bungalows. Because
we only offer 41 bungalows, you'll never feel crowded. We also make
sure your bungalow is furnished with life's little luxuries. Each
features air conditioning, wet bar, color television, refrigerator,
phone as well as a luxurious bathroom.
Te Tiare Beach Resort offers four categories of
bungalows to meet a variety of demands. Those looking for the ultimate
in luxury will certainly choose one of our 11 Premier Deep Overwater
Bungalows or one of the 5 Shallow Overwater Bungalows, both with
separate shower and Jacuzzi-tub. You may also wish to choose one
of the 6 Beachfront Bungalows located on our tranquil - palm studded
white sand beach or one of the 19 Garden Bungalows nested among
the resort's lush tropical gardens.
Regardless of your choice, you will be staying in the most spacious
bungalow found in Tahiti and her Islands. All of our bungalows face
west, so guests may enjoy the island's spectacular tropical sunsets
as well as admire the nearby island of Raiatea and Taha'a.
Tours & Activities
Spectacular
views of Huahine's turquoise waters provide the perfect setting to
relax and unwind in this tranquil part of French Polynesia. Guests
sunbathe on the white sand beach or lounge beside the free form swimming
pool.
Visitors who are more actively inclined can choose from a variety
of activities & excursions such as island tours, picnic trips, sunset
cruises, and snorkeling in some of the loveliest lagoons this side
of paradise. Surf transfers, horseback riding and deep sea fishing
are also available as well as car, scooter and bicycle rentals.
Huahine
is rich in living traditions. More has been done on this island to
restore the archaeological sites than anywhere else in French Polynesia.
The culturally and historically minded will want to take an excursion
to the northeast coast village of Maeva, the ancient capital of Huahine.
Maeva is a rich and exciting archeological site where the remains
of prehistoric villages and ancient stone temples, "Marae", lend clues
to a civilization that existed at least 1000 years ago.
Whether
you're relaxing poolside, snorkeling in the lagoon or exploring the
island by outrigger canoe or kayak, Huahine offers fun and adventure.
Te Tiare offers complimentary outriggers and snorkeling equipment.
Circle Island & Picnic Cruises: Explore the
island on a motorized outrigger. Snorkel in the island's turquoise
lagoon, visit the manta rays and coral gardens. Half -day and full-day
excursions with picnic are available.
4x4 Jeep Safari:
Discover Huahine's magnificent mountains, historic sites, churches,
and temples, tropical valleys, ancient fish traps and sacred eels
by Land Rover tour. These half-day excursions allow visitors to learn
much about this unspoiled island paradise.
Scuba Diving:
All the fauna of the South Pacific is present: rays, sharks, Napoleon
fish, tuna, barracuda, jackfish, moray eels, multicolored schools
of tropical fish and spectacular scenery for beginners and experienced
divers. Dive with experienced guides (state, International CMAS and
PADI instructors).
Glass Bottom Boat & Shark Feeding:
Cruise the lagoon and discover the magnificent coral gardens and feed
the friendly lagoon sharks.
Jet Skis: Tour around
the island lagoon and explore coral reefs, stop at a "motu", and visit
rays and tropical fish.
Horseback Riding: Western
Style, Beach/Ocean rides. Great for all levels of riders.
Surf Shuttle: Huahine is known for good surf and the consistent
and perfect shape of the waves. Two of the best breaks are within
a 10-minute boat ride from the resort (Boards not supplied).
