Things to do in Moorea

Moorea is one of the most scenic islands in Tahiti, lending itself to a variety of great outdoor activities and attractions. From lagoon and water excursions to adventurous treks and land activities, there is an exciting array of things to do during your stay on Moorea.

Please note some activities may require a minimum number of participants to operate on a given day, and black out dates restrictions may apply for cruise arrivals. Please inquire at time of booking.

Moorea Zipline Adventure - Tiki Parc

Departure: Anywhere between 8:00AM - 3:00PM - Duration: 2-4 Hours

Zip through Moorea's lush mountainous terrain with an exciting adventure course through the treetops. Begin with an introductory course and select two of the four available courses from walking nets and bridges to swings, rope ladders, and zip lines. Please note, close-toed shoes are required. Children under 12 years of age are restricted to certain courses and children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on all courses. Persons exceeding 240 lbs. are not permitted.

Discover Moorea`s volcanic peaks, crystalline waters and lush hillsides on an adventurous 4x4 Safari tour. Traverse and explore Moorea’s Magic Mountain, the Belvedere Lookout, Opunohu Bay and Cooks Bay, with stops at ancient Marae. Visit the Agricultural College, where you`ll discover a variety of plants native to these Polynesian islands. You`ll also stop at a pineapple plantation and visit a local juice factory.

The Three Pines Trail (approx. 4.4 miles round trip) follows an ancestral path to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Mount Rotui and the twin bays of Cook and Opunohu, offering the perfect balance of discovery, culture, and relaxation. Three Coconuts Guided Hiking Tour, Intermediate

Embark on an unforgettable adventure into the heart of Polynesian nature with the 3 Coconuts hike, a scenic journey that rises to 385 meters in altitude. Beginning at the Moorea Belvedere (240m) and ascending to the ridge at the foot of Mou`a Roa (880m), this guided trek takes you across rivers, through a tranquil bamboo grove, and past a majestic Banyan tree (Tahitian Chestnut) before reaching a summit that offers breathtaking views of Cook and Opunohu Bays, the caldera, and Vaianae Bay in Haapiti. Difficulty: Intermediate. You will explore the island`s beautiful landscapes, visit the fruit juice factory, agricultural college, pineapple plantations, ancient temples, lush valleys and picturesque vistas. To operate ATV a driver`s license is required and must be presented prior to the tour. Price is per person, based on 2 people sharing 1 ATV. ATV drivers must be 21 years or older with a valid drivers license. ATV passengers must be 10 years or older.

ATV Adventure Raid

Departure: 8:30AM or 1:30PM - Duration: 3 Hours 30 minutes

Journey through Moorea and Opunohu Bay on an ATV. You`ll ride to Belvedere Viewpoint and the Agricultural College at Opunohu where you`ll discover a variety of tropical plants native to Polynesia. You`ll also stop near the river where you can go swimming at your leisure. This excursion will expose you to Polynesian culture and offer some of the most beautiful panoramic views on the island. Price is per person based on one couple sharing  an ATV. ATV drivers must be 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license. ATV passengers must be 5 years of age or older.

Cata Jet Guided Tour

Small Group - 2 Hours, 9:30AM and 1:30PM Departures

Enjoy a guided tour by Cata Jet for 2 people, seated side by side. You will visit the 2 bays, Opunohu and Cooks, on the west coast of Moorea with a stop for snorkeling and fruit tasting. The price is per person, based on two people sharing a Cata Jet. Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver`s license to drive the Cata Jet. Must be 10 years of age or older to ride the Cata Jet.
